The Girls State Championship Final, featuring a powerhouse matchup between #1 Georgetown Day School and #3 Sidwell Friends School.

The 2025 DCSAA Girls Soccer State Championship between Georgetown Day School (GDS) and Sidwell Friends School (SFS) will resume today, Monday, November 10th, at 4:00 PM at Catholic University’s Carlini Field.

The match was postponed last night due to lightning, with the score tied 1–1 and 8:05 remaining in the first half at the time of suspension.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of all student-athletes, coaches, and fans as we prioritized safety during last night’s weather delay.

Join us this afternoon as we resume play and crown this year’s Girls Soccer State Champion!
