UNITED BANK 25-26 SCHOLARSHIPS WINNERS

Scholarship winners

This year’s scholarship recipients represent a diverse range of schools and participate in a variety of sports:

  • Rahsaan Bernard Jr. is a captain of the St. John’s track and field team and qualified for the New Balance indoor and outdoor national meets. He has a 4.62 grade-point average and plans to attend Stanford University.
  • Lucas Campbell has competed in soccer, football, baseball and golf at Eastern, carrying a 4.45 grade-point average and captaining the baseball and soccer teams. He plans to play soccer at Howard University.
  • Sonora Hale captained the girl’s soccer team at Jackson-Reed, where she was the DCIAA Player of the Year. She has a 4.54 grade-point average and has taken 13 Advanced Placement exams. She plans to play soccer at Case Western Reserve University.
  • Jacob Morvis captained the wrestling team at St. Albans, where he also played football and lacrosse and ran cross-country and track. He plans to attend the University of Chicago.
  • Erynn Wallace was a member of the basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, soccer, swimming and track and field teams at MacArthur, where she has a 4.10 grade-point average. She plans to attend North Carolina A&T State University.
